Individual Accused in Ivy League Campus Shooting Found Discovered Dead Inside Storage Facility.

The individual believed to be the weekend's fatal shooting incident at Brown University reportedly took his own life on Thursday night, per law enforcement.

He was found at a storage location on Thursday evening, as reported citing an official source. The same individual is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a home in the Boston area.

“He ended his own life tonight,” stated the head of the Providence police department during a news briefing.

The police official identified the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old student at Brown University.

This news follows a major law enforcement operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses reported seeing multiple armed officers entering the location.

The intensive search for the perpetrator had resumed on Monday after state prosecutors revealed that a person of interest on Sunday had been let go. This turn of events was acknowledged to be deeply concerning for the city residents.

City leadership noted that while the letting go was a disappointment, the broader investigation was not paused unabated.

The young victims who were killed in the shooting have been identified. They are Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an Uzbek national in his first year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Authorities are expected to hold a press conference to provide additional information on the suspect's death.
