Artist D4vd Reportedly Identified as Suspect in Tragic Demise of Teen Discovered in Tesla
The artist known as D4vd has been named as a suspect in the death of Celeste Rivas, a adolescent who vanished and was later discovered deceased inside the artist's Tesla vehicle earlier this year, based on police.
Location of the Deceased
This decomposed corpse of Rivas, 15, was found in September inside the frunk of a ebony Tesla owned by D4vd, whose actual name is David Anthony Burke. This automobile had been ticketed in a Hollywood Hills and then impounded at a impound lot in Los Angeles.
Chronology of Incidents
Investigators believe that Rivas probably died in the spring, adding that D4vd had apparently assisted in cutting up and getting rid of the corpse. This musician has been uncooperative in the probe, as stated by a law enforcement representative.
The teenager Rivas was initially reported missing from her hometown in spring 2024. The corpse was later discovered in the artist's Tesla after workers at Hollywood Tow reported a powerful odor emanating from the car.
Investigation and Authoritative Comments
The reason for demise has still not been identified, but the forensic office remarked that Rivas “appears to have been no longer alive inside the vehicle for an extended period before being located.” Police are considering her demise as a murder.
Background on the Singer
The Houston artist had been given a violation in the Hollywood area just 11 days before Rivas was found in the vehicle, after overstaying the short-term parking limit. Neighbors in the area stated that the Tesla had been left in the vicinity for several weeks.
The victim's family member commented that the family was aware that Rivas had a connection to the singer and that she was on her way to see a movie with him just before she went missing.
D4vd, pronounced as “David,” is a NY-native musician famous for the chart-toppers “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were staying at a Los Angeles home in the Hollywood Hills in this past autumn, as stated by the property's landlord, until law enforcement searched the residence.
D4vd has partnered with record labels. He was engaged in a concert series at the period Rivas's remains were located, but called off those appearances following the location of Rivas's corpse.
